    Application

    To make octopus balls using octopus powder, first prepare the batter. In a mixing bowl, combine the octopus powder with water according to the directions on the package. Stir until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Next, cut the cooked octopus into small pieces and mix them into the batter. Heat the octopus ball pan and brush each mold with oil. Pour the batter into the mold, almost filling the top of the mold. Add additional toppings such as chopped scallions, tenkasu (tempura crumbles) or other desired fillings to each mold. Use chopsticks or a fork to flip the balls to cook evenly. Fry until golden brown on the bottom, then flip and cook the other side. Repeat this process until all the batter is used up and the balls are cooked to a golden and crispy texture.
